UniSQ places a strong emphasis on practical training within its health studies and nursing degree programs, with simulation facilities that emulate real-world clinical environments. 

At our Midwifery Simulation Centre, students can engage in authentic scenarios, from the birthing process to handling obstetric and neonatal emergencies. Such immersive experiences are pivotal in equipping students with the skills and confidence needed for their future careers.

Sports and Exercise students can practice their health studies at UniSQ’s Sport and Exercise Clinic. While gaining hands on experience at this clinic students will service the local community by helping to provide a variety of services, including assessment, exercise prescription and education.

Our paramedicine students become immersed in simulated education practices involving creating accident scenes and providing opportunities for intervention. The mobile simulation ambulance adds another layer to the quality health courses on offer at UniSQ.
